Caricaturist, graphic artist and author. Manfred Deix was not a proven photographer, but his astute eye captured extraordinary moments almost photographically, even without a camera.
The exceptional artist was a gifted observer and mercilessly brought the abysses of Austrian society to the point in his characteristic figures. With original sketches, cartoons, watercolour works and acrylic paintings, some of which have never been shown before, OstLicht presents a comprehensive overview of Manfred Deix's decades-long oeuvre in this sales exhibition.
