DAVID SCHALKO
David Schalko is known as an author and director. He is now presenting his first photo book as part of the exhibition "GEISTER" ("Ghosts"). And don't worry: David Schalko is not going to start painting any time soon. This is a one-off excursion into the world of photography.
"It's the story of an obsession. And to stop this obsession, there is a book and an exhibition. It started years ago when I discovered that there were undiscovered creatures living among us. Since nobody would believe me, I photographed them. Hundreds. No. Thousands I captured before they disappeared again. Or evaporate. Or simply vanish into thin air." – David Schalko
