Over 200 photographs, including numerous icons and valuable rarities from the early days of the medium, will be up for auction at the 10th WestLicht Photo Auction on 21 March 2014. The top-class selection was once again made with the renowned expert for classical photography, Prof. Johannes Faber.

To kick off the preview, Prof. Faber led a tour of the preview and provided information about special works. The tour also offered an exciting insight into the history of photography, the dynamics and peculiarities of the photography market and the auction process. Prof. Johannes Faber, born in 1952, is the founder of Galerie Johannes Faber in Vienna, an art dealer and expert in classical photography.
