Maria Pflug-Hofmayr, space journalist, founder of the internet platform Der Orion and fascinated by space since childhood, spoke to around 70 visitors about the origins of space photography. Using selected photographs from the current exhibition Completely Detached. The History of Space Photography, Pflug-Hofmayr explained in her exciting lecture which methods and techniques were used to create astronomical images.
