180 YEARS OF PHOTOGRAPHY AT WESTLICHT

WestLicht celebrated the 180th birthday of photography with an open door day on the 19th of August 2019: In addition to Federal Chancellor Brigitte Bierlein, Federal Minister Alexander Schallenberg, Josef Ostermayer, Erika Pluhar and many other guests of honour were among the approximately 2,000 visitors.
Programme highlights were the newly designed camera museum, the daguerreotype exhibition and a panel discussion on the early history of photography in Austria with Monika Faber and Simon Weber-Unger.
